Pastor Brenda Etheridge was ordained to Christian Ministry by the Michigan Region, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on November 9, 2008.  A Missouri native, she holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education and a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Missouri; and a Masters of Divinity from Heritage Seminary, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

She is immediate past-president of the International Disciples Women's Ministry and has a history of leadership in both the Michigan Region (Disciples of Christ) and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada, currently serving as Chair  of General Nominating and Member of the Executive Committee of the Disciples Peace Fellowship.

She and husband Leroy, of 29 years, share a blended family of five sons, one daughter and eight grandchildren.  She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, history and cultural events.
